Here some pictures of my project "Stazione FS Girosca". It's made out of a kit from MKB-modelle, and I'm trying to make it some nicer with more details made out of scratch, painting and weathering. Any tips for the FS logo ( xmpr ) and making the station name signs are welcome!
The last picture is showing the current state, I still have to do a lot before it's ready. Eventually the station will be placed on my model railroad, called Girosca. It will take a while, because it's not build yet. Just plans... [:I]
Bravo, ottima realizzazione.......anch'io ho montato il mio edificio viaggiatori, però è in scala N e modificato nei due corpi laterali! In pratica la casa non produce il fabbricato in questa forma.........ed io me lo sono fatto su misura!
Great job!!
MKB Kits are very well made and realistic.
In the photo there is a kit I made in N gauge, but it is very elaborated.
The lamps are from Viessmann, they are not included. The original lamps can be found as number 6490. I think the scale N are more fitting to the h0 scale. In h0 I think the lamps are to big, that's why I used N-scale lamps. I only used the upper parts of the lamp. It takes some time to make it, but I think it's worth. I have bought also some pieces of equipment from Auhagen, and hopefully I get a order of things I did in Italy in a few days. I'm planning to finnish the station in about 4 weeks. After that it's time for some more buildings to make. In the future this station will be used on my model railroad, but that only exists on paper yet.
Again a little update. I've made some signs and today a package arrived from Italy with some accessories. The letters and FS logo on the front of the station are only fitted for the view, they are not glued yet. First I have to paint them! Every detail i'm adding at the moment really give the station a more "Italian look". I'm very pleased with how it looks at the moment, but there is still some work to do.
